Overview

Public libraries are a center for resource sharing, events, and sometimes offer other public services. Engaging with and supporting public library services or events offered also helps support the presence of these community spaces. Further, there are also specific library collections and intentional knowledge holding. These resources or spaces hold and preserve knowledge or resources around some sort of specification, like local Willamette Valley knowledge, history, arts, or more. Preserving and stewarding these efforts creates an intentional space for collective knowledge in a region that can help to reflect on and inform our future regenerative work, collective decisions, and current presence.
