To start this tour we will be paying homage to the crystal clear headwaters of the Mckenzie river as they emerge from deep underground and tumble forth from the mouth of Sahlie falls or the Heavens as its translated from Chinook Wawa. It will be a time to listen and remember those beings who came before us and all the beings human and more than human who walk the path of caring for life. Much of this tour is to help us remember that we belong to this life and that comes with responsibilities to be good relatives to each other and the interwoven tapestry of other beings to whom we owe our continued existence. We will gather together at this powerful place to set intentions, listen and begin our journey in a good way. We invite you to Sing, Dance, Remember and to step into life as a human being of this territory and these waters.
Regenerate Willamette Valley is an autonomous part of a larger bioregional movement, Regenerate Cascadia. === Willamette Valley Listening Tour ===
Our big project right now is to plan an ecoregional listening tour, which will visit sites from the headwaters of the Willamette River down to the confluence with the Columbia River. Our tour dates are September 4th-16th. If you are interested in joining or volunteering to support these efforts, please email regen.willamette@protonmail.com. Please send donations via GoFundMe for the Regenerate Northern/Southern tour

In building a regenerative future, we know we need to create networks of resilience to meet community needs. The following organizations are taking steps along the path toward community care, restorative justice, thoughtful reuse, radical abundance, food sovereignty, ecological harmony, and communal knowledge. If you know of organizations that belong on this list, please contact us!

Inspired by permaculture technique and organized for ease of access the community needs page has been organized into five zones, beginning with philosophical alignments toward tending the land, moving to attributes most necessary to access daily for life in the Willamette Valley, and moving outward toward interpersonal groups and other directories.

Inclusion on this list is not an endorsement. All groups and links are already publicly accessible.
