Connect the Dots Radical Farmers and Food Justice organizing
At a wonderful initial meeting on Jan 11, 2025, reps from over a dozen organizations outlined their work, their needs, their offerings, and what short term actions could be taken to network better and more effectively.

Three of those short term steps were a basic, persistent communication platform (ie. not email!) for sharing information about:

* Events (including workparties)
* Volunteer Needs
* Mutual Aid

The plan is for groups to be able to quickly update these pages with new information, with some folk in our network willing to manage and edit them into consistent, up to date format. This will allow for others to take the info and rapidly transform into flyers that can be posted both on social media and physically on bulletin boards at our sites (and elsewhere).

Please, check them out and, if you're a relevant farm or food justice project, add to them!

(Also note that if you're not familiar with wiki editing, and would rather use a google doc, we will link one here to transfer periodically to the wiki.)

Welcome to the Wiki for Regenerate Northern Willamette Valley!
Use these resource pages to learn about regenerative agriculture, education, history, finance, and culture happening in our ecoregion. You will find a directory of organizations and projects, calendar of events, and a volunteer match program that helps you find ways to connect with the land and the people tending it.

Our team is primarily based in the greater Portland area, so most of our offerings presently relate to this location, although we have intentions to widen our network to include all of Willamette Valley.

The Regenerate Northern Willamette Valley is an autonomous part of a larger bioregional movement, Regenerate Cascadia. Our team aims to create a network of people working in their landscapes to develop resiliency.
